While the Governor pushes to get a plan through the Ohio legislators we are still stuck with a broken and unconstitutional method of school funding. Even if the bills that create a new way of procuring dollars for our children and grandchildren's educations were made into law today, it will take many years to bring those dollars to Dover, OH.
As members of this community we would agree that good schools, great teachers, and a world of opportunity will be the hope and promise of our youngest citizens. Without properly funded school systems with equity for all taxpayers that contribute to the system Ohio will continue to hold onto future taxpayers and a strong and well educated workforce.
We as Citizen Ownership for Dover Education need to continue to put pressure on our lawmakers to create the best possible solution and deliver it in a timely manner. Citizen Ownership for Dover Education will not sit on the side lines and wait for action.
