What are the Local Funded Options and how much does each add to the cost?

Re: LFOs

Thanks for the question, tompm. Best place to find details about what's included in the Locally Funded Initiatives is actually on www.dovertornadoes.com. Click on District News and look for the PowerPoints that cover the topic. I know that the total LFI costs are $13.7 million and include four additional classrooms, three more science/tech labs, two special education classrooms and one additional art room, a 1000-seat auditorium (the current one seats 1100), additional music practice and storage space, additional seating in the planned gymnasium (to equal what we currently have) and an auxiliary gym. These are above and beyond the OSFC minimums because we have so many more students involved in sports, music, fine arts and Advanced Placement programs than the typical school our size. Hope this proves helpful.
